Business Anniversary Marketing Ideas

Business Anniversary Marketing Ideas

It isn’t every day, month or year your business celebrates its 60th year in operation. Having worked with Watkins for over a year, acting as their outsourced marketing team, we worked closely with them to help deliver a FABULOUS 60th-anniversary campaign to celebrate this milestone and make it one to remember. Here are some insights into what this involved.

Logo Update

What better way to mark an anniversary of this scale than making it part of your logo?!

Adding your anniversary to your logo is one of the best ways to get noticed. Your logo is everywhere, your website, email footer and social media, to name a few.

Content Drafting

As marketers, branding and consistency in our communications are so important to us. As part of the campaign planning, we drafted a series of website articles and press releases to share this milestone with Watkins’ local communities, customers and industry friends.

Social Media Campaigns

Social media was an integral part of our campaign strategy, and of course, these needed beautiful and branded templates!

The content included celebrating some of the most iconic projects Watkins have worked on over the last 60 years, their first office compared to their headquarters now, quotes from key team members and much more.

Internal Communications

For every organisation, internal communications is integral to help make your employees feel appreciated and unite them in feeling part of the company’s success.

We helped design and draft content for a special 60th-anniversary edition of Watkins’ quarterly internal newsletter, ‘Graunching Times’, which was circulated to over 200 employees. This also included company updates for the launch of their new divisions, recent projects and employee anniversaries.

Events – Party Time

What better way to celebrate a 60th anniversary and thank your employees for their dedication over the years, than with a boat party travelling down the River Thames?

We helped in the organisation of the party, arranging photography and all the details to make it a memorable and special day for each employee.

A couple of things that made the event POP:

  • Branded backdrop for photos
  • Branded cupcakes/cake
  • Balloons
  • Goody bags for attendees
  • Presentation of awards

Merchandise

To help mark the occasion, we also wanted to give Watkins employees something they could keep to remember the anniversary, including coasters and a pin badge, and of course, something yummy to eat!

It’s important to celebrate your achievements as a business, not only to be proud of how far you have come but also to thank those that have supported your journey.

If you have a big event or milestone coming up, why not get in touch to make it an event to remember?
