Is It Time To Reflect On Your Marketing?

23rd March…the date Boris implemented our lockdown…we’ve been in lockdown for 3 months!?

3 months is a LONG time. And boy, have we felt it. Thankfully, blue skies are starting to shine through those grey clouds. Restrictions are gradually easing and life is becoming easier ever so slightly. Yet, it sure seems like a distant future until we’ll be jetting off to sunny islands and running to the local pub after that long awaited early Friday finish!

So, how can we remain positive and continue our business strategies, motivations & inspirations?

Is It Time To Reflect On Your Marketing?

Reflection Activity
Take the time out of your busy schedule (…i.e stop binge watching netflix! We’re all guilty…) to grab your notebook, a tea or coffee, and start scribbling down your accomplishments during lockdown. This can be a list of all the things you believe you or your business have done well during covid-19. Recognising your achievements is a great way to understand you have survived the worst of it, and you will continue to survive!

Now, after celebrating what you’ve done well, write a separate list on the next page with what you could have done better during the past 3 months of lockdown. To help you with this, below is a list of common things businesses have struggled over the last few months:

Digital marketing & campaigns
Are these still relevant? How can you make an impact? What ideas have you got for bounceback?

SEO (search engine optimization)
Are your keywords still the same? Have you written any new content or blogs?

Email marketing campaigns
Have you sent any recently? Have you had any new sign ups?

Social Media platforms
Are you present? Are people engaging? How can you improve?

Social Media Marketing
Advertising – is it still getting the results? How can you optimise it?

Website
Is the content still relevant? Have you used your time to update it?

Printed materials
Are these still relevant? Can you use send them out now?

Many of these consist of online marketing which some businesses are not all too familiar with. If that’s you, fear no more, you’re in the right place.
