Blogs are great fresh content for your website.
Step by step guide to blogging:
1. Research your title:
a) What search terms are people using to find businesses like yours?
b) Use the search term and add in some structure… e.g. Top 10 Tips
c) Title examples: “Top 10 XXXXX Ideas”, “Beginners Guide To XXX”, “Best Ways To Sell XXX Online”
2. Write your blog:
a) Research your content. Include key stats and format it so it is super readable and keeps the reader interested.
b) Start with a taster of what’s to come.
c) Use ‘bold’ to grab your reader’s attention throughout your article.
d) Use the title in the body of your blog and answer the reader’s question.
e) Always finish with a call to action.
3. Once written and added to your website.
4. Share it to your social media channels. Write a little snippet of the blog on your post caption with a nice interesting image & a link to the blog.
Blogs and new content on your website is great for SEO so make sure you have your keywords in there!
Remember, as marketers we’re always looking to deliver value so it should be topical & interesting content for your audience as well as delivering on objectives for your business.
