The Innovation Hub was recently established to offer collaboration opportunities between businesses and academics at the University of Kent to turn research into commercial projects.

Services: Logo and Branding, Graphic Design, Social Media Management, Social Media Advertising, Email Marketing and Event Management.
Problem: The Innovation Hub at the University of Kent approached us to create a buzz and build traction for the first-ever Kent Tech R&D Conference, happening within just four weeks!
To make the event successful, The Innovation Hub team were looking to double their existing number of registrees.
Solution: Before our engagement, there was no consolidated database, brand identity or digital marketing strategy for the conference.
As time was of the essence, we began the process by implementing a 4-week action plan to prioritise and achieve the following:
- Build a strong and consistent identity for the conference whilst keeping within the brand guidelines of the University of Kent.
- Redraft and enhance the existing event introduction and agenda.
- Design supporting collateral.
- Attract a wider audience of targeted professionals to register for the event through social media, social advertising and email marketing.
- Communicate with existing registrants to inform them of event details and speaker line-up.
- Instructed and briefed a photographer to capture future content
- Develop a robust process and captured content and a database that could be used and implemented for future events.
We were delighted to work with the Innovation Hub team at the University of Kent to help make their first Kent Tech R&D Conference a success. Having carried out a post-event survey, we have been delighted with the feedback and look forward to having an ongoing relationship with the University to help with their ongoing marketing requirements.
